I have to work on the 22nd. Just in case it comes up, I'm not available on June 12th either.

Wow, Wed already. I meant to write something about the last workday. Just Doug and I, but we got quite a bit done. Doug also had things set up for the rock crawl, including an overhead "wire bridge" running from around the workbenches to the pile of rocks in zone 4. Very cool. So, we used all of the filtered dirt (hint, hint on what needs to be done next time :)). We replaced the long, aging hill in zone 3. The one at the corner of the last hills we replaced and the farm village. Kind of a cool new layout with two hills and some drivable "bumps" in the flat area near the river. You can fire into the town from the top of the new hills. The other hill we replaced entirely was in zone 2, the long hill leading out of the rock quarry (if you are standing along the edge of the quarry, the hill on the right of the two long parallel hills coming out of the quarry). Again, sort of a "V" with a drivable central section. A lot of dirt, but things went really smoothly. We filled in a few other areas that were eroding, but we are out of trees (and could use more). Anyway, a good day's work and I hope folks find the new hills fun to drive!

Sorry, no pics, maybe Willy and company will take some this weekend.

Almost forgot, the museum has a new Russian APC (for lack of a better description). Very cool amphibious vehicle, you'll have to check it out next time you're up there!

All for now.
